Cafe Julia

Cafe Julia Hawaii occupies a landmark setting in downtown Honolulu: the historic YWCA Laniakea Building, designed by Julia Morgan — one of only a handful of women practicing architecture in America during the 1920s and the first female architect to work in Hawaii. Morgan is internationally recognized for designing Hearst Castle, and the Laniakea Center holds official historic building status within the State of Hawaii. The cafe and event venue opened to the public in 2013, situated across the street from Iolani Palace. The property offers three distinct event spaces, accommodating weddings and private events for up to 180 guests. Couples and event planners can host both ceremony and reception on-site, with in-house catering provided for all events. The venue's signature outdoor courtyard, framed by graceful arched colonnades and draped in string lights, has made it a sought-after location for weddings throughout Oahu.
