Cajundome Convention Center

The CAJUNDOME Convention Center is a multi-purpose event facility situated on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana. Spanning 72,000 square feet of dedicated convention space within an 85,000-square-foot complex, the center draws corporate conferences, trade shows, banquets, nonprofit fundraisers, school events, graduation ceremonies, Mardi Gras balls, and weddings throughout the year. The facility offers several distinct event spaces — including the second-floor Festival Ballroom with its adjoining pre-function area, the first-floor Mardi Gras Ballroom with seven divisible salons, a large Exhibit Hall that can accommodate up to 3,500 guests for major productions, and The Table Room, a private lounge with full bar service. Weddings receive dedicated attention through a wedding specialist on staff, complimentary champagne for the couple's toast, a personal attendant, and on-site Artisan Creative Catering. Free on-site parking, in-house audio and lighting support, and experienced event staff round out the offering. Nonprofits holding 501(c)(3) status qualify for a 10% discount on room rental.
