Camp Kiwanee

Camp Kiwanee is a 68-acre campground and event venue owned by the Town of Hanson, Massachusetts, set on the shores of Lake Monponsett. At its heart stands the Needles Lodge, a historic structure built in the early 1900s and listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2005 — the first property in Hanson to receive that designation. The Lodge accommodates up to 200 guests for seated receptions alongside a dance floor, and its renovated back deck overlooks Maquan Pond, with drop windows that expand seating for ceremonies. A library inside the building serves as an additional ceremony space, and outdoor lakeside and wooded settings are available for ceremonies as well. The South End Campground — available for full-evening buyout — adds 17 cabins, a bridal cottage, and a pavilion with a stage and fireplace, giving wedding parties the option to turn the celebration into an overnight retreat. Camp Kiwanee is available for weddings, corporate retreats, and private events from May through mid-October.
