Canebrake Country Club

Canebrake Country Club is a private club and event venue in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, established in 1985 by the York Development team. Built around an 18-hole Jerry Pate–designed golf course and a natural "Brake" of 40-foot bamboo, the club also offers a pool complex, fitness center, salon and spa, and a 24-court tennis and pickleball facility — the recipient of the USTA's 2024 Outstanding Facility Award. The main event facility accommodates up to 200 guests beneath a 40-foot exposed wood-beamed ceiling, with three sides of paned windows framing panoramic views of the golf course, a fountain, and the terrace overlooking hole 18. An outdoor courtyard provides space for pre-reception cocktail service, and the adjacent terrace serves as an outdoor ceremony site. The club's events team brings more than 15 years of combined experience in private event planning, with in-house culinary service available for custom menus.
