Carlos Creek Winery

Carlos Creek sits on 190 acres in Alexandria, Minnesota, where a working winery, a craft brewery, and a collection of event venues come together in a single destination. Established in 1999, the property has grown into what the venue calls Minnesota's largest winery, producing wines from cold-hardy local grapes alongside California varieties — all made on-site. Weddings and private events center around the Grand Hall, a repurposed horse stable and riding arena that now accommodates up to 350 seated guests. The space features a stone fireplace, reclaimed wood accents, and wine barrel chandeliers. For outdoor ceremonies, the Natural Cathedral — the only one of its kind in the region — offers an open-air setting enclosed by trees. Smaller gatherings find a home in the Creekside Room, a barn-style space for 10 to 75 guests, and the Brewery Loft, a cozy Nordic-inspired room above the 22 Northmen Taproom, accommodating up to 49 guests for rehearsal dinners and intimate receptions. Carlos Creek offers all-inclusive wedding packages that cover fresh floral centerpieces, arbor setup, guest shuttles, décor setup and breakdown, and a dedicated Venue Manager for the wedding day.
