Carolina Beach Lake Park

Carolina Beach Lake Park is centered on an 11-acre freshwater lake set just a couple of blocks from the ocean in Carolina Beach, North Carolina — noted in the Guinness Book of World Records as the freshwater lake nearest to salt water. A walking path circles the water, which is home to resident ducks and geese, giving the park a relaxed, natural setting for outdoor gatherings.
