Carolina Club

Set within the George Watts Hill Alumni Center on the University of North Carolina campus in Chapel Hill, The Carolina Club is a private business and social club that welcomes alumni, university faculty and staff, and the broader Chapel Hill community. Warm, wood-accented interiors carry an atmosphere of distinction, with in-house dining and personalized service at the center of the experience. The Club's event spaces suit a wide range of gatherings, from corporate seminars and board meetings to weddings, graduation parties, and life celebrations. The centerpiece is Alumni Hall, a 7,500-square-foot room with an elevated stage that divides into three sections using movable walls, each opening onto an outdoor terrace. Smaller rooms, including the mural-lined Peebles Room and the walnut-paneled Royall Room, offer intimate settings for showers, luncheons, and business meetings. An experienced catering and food-and-beverage team prepares every event in house, and a dedicated private events staff works through the details of each occasion. While The Carolina Club is a members' club, it welcomes private event rentals from non-members, and its team can coordinate the arrangements.
