Cave Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast occupies an 1830 manor house in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, built by an Englishman over three years on land granted to the Hopkins family by King George II in 1759. The property takes its name from a natural cave near the guest parking area that once supplied fresh water, and its 10-room manor features brick walls up to 15 inches thick, made from clay fired on-site. Over nearly two centuries the farm has operated as a vineyard, dairy, poultry operation, and grain farm, and has run as a bed and breakfast since the early 2000s. Five guest rooms — the Bridal Room, Grandmother's Room, the Gold Room, Uncle Charlie's Room, and Aunt Emma's Room — each offer a queen bed, private bathroom, electric fireplace, WiFi, and television, along with country and mountain views. The property also hosts private events, offering its downstairs kitchen, dining room, two living rooms, and front and back lawns, with sweeping mountain views as a backdrop for gatherings ranging from intimate to large. Guests can book the space by the hour, the day, or for a full weekend that includes all five bedrooms, and a homemade breakfast is included daily for overnight guests.
