Cedar Bay Retreat

Cedar Bay Retreat is an outdoor riverfront garden estate situated on a wooded three-acre parcel along the north bank of Cedar Bay in North Jacksonville, Florida. Cedar Bay is a shallow fish and wildlife estuary formed by the Broward River, a tributary of the St. Johns River, lending the property a natural, serene character that sets it apart from more urban event settings. The retreat opened its grounds for weddings and events in Spring 2015 and is owned and managed by Ministerio Renacer Inc., a not-for-profit organization. The property hosts ceremonies on its lush green lawns beneath a canopy of tall trees, cocktail hours on the open-air concrete patio, and receptions under a large covered porch that runs along the waterfront. Outdoor capacity reaches several hundred guests across the lawn, patio, and porch, while a smaller indoor area accommodates more intimate gatherings. Outside caterers are welcome, and the venue is handicap accessible with on-site WiFi and parking. All visits and event tours are by appointment.
