Cedar Creek Racquet Club

Cedar Creek Club rests on 50 lakeside acres in the Cashiers-Highlands area of North Carolina, set at 3,500 feet along the shores of Lake Lupton and surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains and national forest. The club traces its history to the Lupton family, who made the area their summer home and dammed a portion of the Horsepasture River to form the lake. Their stately farmhouse, with classic Southern styling and vast porches, still serves as the clubhouse today. For weddings, reunions, and other celebrations, Cedar Creek offers four distinct atmospheres. Its dining spaces range from an elegant formal dining room and a cozy pub room to an open-air porch and covered deck overlooking the lake and croquet lawn, with the casual Lakeside Grille at the pool. The kitchen pairs Southern hospitality with regional Low Country cooking, from scratch-made favorites to house-made desserts. Beyond events, the club is known for a Top 20-ranked tennis facility with five Har-Tru clay courts, along with pickleball, croquet, swimming, canoeing, and hiking trails winding through the surrounding forest.
