Charlie Daniels Park

Charlie Daniels Park is Mount Juliet's largest recreation destination, combining family amenities, athletic facilities, and outdoor gathering spaces on Charlie Daniels Parkway. The park connects to the Cedar Creek Greenway via a one-mile walking track and includes the 9,000-square-foot Planet Playground, Squirrel's Run Toddler Park, Ava's Splash Pad, a skate park, four tennis courts, two pickleball courts, two sand volleyball courts, and a full-court outdoor basketball area. For events, the park offers five pavilions and a gazebo available for rental year-round, with the pavilions wired for electricity and each fitted with a small grill. An amphitheater on-site hosts musical performances and community events throughout the year, and a multi-purpose athletic field accommodates additional programming. The Mount Juliet Community Center, which houses a basketball court and multipurpose rooms, is also located within the park. Facility rentals are booked through the city's online reservation system, and nonprofit organizations may qualify for reduced pricing with proof of 501(c)(3) status.
