Chickagami Park, Geauga Park District

Chickagami Park is a wooded park in Parkman Township, Ohio, managed by the Geauga Park District. Formerly operated as a Boy Scout camping facility, the park sits within the headwaters of the Grand River watershed and encompasses wetlands, streams, and uplands that make it a distinctive natural setting for outdoor gatherings. Two open-air shelters — Pine Grove and Overlook — are available by reservation for private events, picnics, and celebrations. Pine Grove Shelter accommodates up to 150 guests and features 12 picnic tables, electrical outlets, and a grill, with vault-style restrooms nearby. Overlook Shelter hosts up to 75 guests and looks out over the park's wetland meadow, offering 10 picnic tables, electrical outlets, and a grill with nearby restrooms. Shelters are reservable year-round and available for all occasions. Beyond its event facilities, the park offers four trails totaling 1.62 miles, horseshoe pits, an activity field, and 13 campsites.
