CityArts Factory

CityArts Factory is a multi-use arts and cultural destination in the heart of downtown Orlando, occupying the historic Dr. Phillips Theatre building at 29 South Orange Avenue. Originally constructed in 1916, the building was renovated in 2006 into a contemporary arts facility that serves as downtown's largest collective of art galleries. The venue houses five separate art galleries alongside a classroom, an artist's studio, and an 8,000-square-foot events and performance space. Exhibitions rotate monthly, featuring a mix of local community and international works spanning paintings, prints, sculptures, and drawings. Monthly opening receptions are held on the third Thursday of each month. For private gatherings and corporate functions, CityArts Factory accommodates up to 200 guests, offering a distinctive backdrop of rotating artwork within a storied downtown building. The venue is operated by the Downtown Arts District, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing visual and performing arts in Central Florida.
