Clark Park

Clark Park is a community park and recreation hub in southwest Detroit, managed by the Clark Park Coalition — a nonprofit established through a public-private partnership with the city following the park's temporary closure in 1991. The park serves as a year-round gathering place for the surrounding community, regularly hosting festivals, concerts, and private events for one of Detroit's most ethnically diverse neighborhoods. The park is home to the only regulation-sized outdoor ice hockey rink in Metro Detroit, operating seasonally from January through mid-March, along with three baseball fields available for rental throughout the season. Clark Park welcomes both community celebrations and private gatherings, with event rentals coordinated through the Clark Park Coalition and the City of Detroit Parks & Recreation Department.
