Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a working marine animal hospital and nonprofit conservation center located in Clearwater, Florida, that opens its doors — and its remarkable waterside spaces — for private events year-round.
The Jacobson Ballroom, the aquarium's flagship event space, offers 7,200 square feet of open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling bay windows and an outdoor balcony, accommodating up to 300 seated guests or 650 for cocktail receptions. The Jacobson Theater seats up to 287 and is equipped for presentations, screenings, and ceremonies. Outdoors, the Dolphin Terrace provides above-water views of the resident dolphin habitat with market lighting and seating for up to 100, while the Ruth & J.O. Stone Window of Wonder surrounds guests with 360-degree underwater views of the rescue dolphins — an experience found nowhere else in the region.
Beyond the dolphin-centric spaces, the Rescue Deck and Harborview Deck offer intimate waterfront settings overlooking Clearwater Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway, with sea turtles, otters, and rays nearby. The aquarium hosts corporate meetings, galas, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and social celebrations, with an after-hours full buyout available for exclusive access to the entire facility.
