Set on a peninsula within Lake Hartwell, five miles from Clemson University's main campus, the Clemson University Outdoor Lab is a lakeside retreat and event center surrounded by wooded trails and open water views. The property offers eight distinct venues, from a lakefront banquet hall to intimate covered decks, along with cabin and suite lodging for guests staying overnight. The Outdoor Lab hosts conferences, meetings, retreats, weddings, receptions, family reunions, and cookouts. Kresge Hall, the largest of the venues, overlooks Lake Hartwell with a stone fireplace and a wrap-around porch, while Cannon Chapel Pavilion offers a covered, string-lit gathering space within the Clemson Forest. Smaller venues like the Deck at Michael's Mooring and the Hopa Cabana provide more intimate lakeside settings for rehearsal dinners and gatherings.
