The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum occupies the beautifully restored 1903 El Paso County Courthouse in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs, surrounded by Alamo Square Park. Dedicated to preserving and sharing the cultural heritage of the Pikes Peak region, the museum has served the community since 1896 and holds accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums — a distinction earned by only 3% of U.S. museums. The historic courthouse building, featuring French and German Renaissance architecture, is available for weddings, receptions, meetings, lectures, corporate hospitality events, and other community functions. The facility accommodates gatherings from 10 to 400 guests, offering a setting where event proceeds directly support the museum's exhibits, programming, and extensive historical collections. All exhibits and event areas are wheelchair accessible, and events hosted at the museum contribute to the preservation of a landmark central to Colorado Springs' civic and cultural identity.
