This room is the exquisite setting that brides dream of since it has amazing natural light from the spacious patio that looks out towards the Rocky Mountains. In 1955, a championship golf course was built in Colorado, but it was also surrounded by 200 housing sites, which was unusual for Colorado at the time. The 295-acre Heckendorf Farm, which is situated along the South Platte River Valley west of the city of Littleton, was chosen as a picturesque, natural site by the 17 founding members. The region provided an unobstructed view of the mountains, a plateau, and a flowing river valley, all of which express a sense of peaceful spaciousness. The project was given the name "Columbine Country Club," after the state flower.
