Cottonwood Guest Ranch

Cottonwood Guest Ranch is a working horse and cattle ranch situated in the remote northeastern corner of Nevada near Wells. Six generations of the Smith family have operated the property, with a tradition of hospitality spanning more than 60 years. The ranch hosts weddings for 4 to 400 guests, accommodating everything from intimate ceremonies to large celebrations — and equally suited to elegant or rustic styling, religious or civil, traditional or non-traditional formats. A roster of preferred local vendors covers catering, tent and furniture rentals, entertainment, floral arrangements, photography, and more. Groups and corporate conferences also find a natural fit in the ranch's expansive rural setting. Alongside events, the property offers fishing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, and bird watching, as well as a dedicated Veteran's Ranch and Wilderness Retreat program.
