Country Club of Maryland

The Country Club of Maryland has been a cornerstone of Towson, Maryland since its founding in 1923, opening its doors in 1925 as Rogers Forge Golf Club. The club passed through two name changes — becoming Terra Mariae Country Club in 1940, then adopting its current name in February 1941 — and has built nearly a century of history across its fairways, greens, and clubhouse. The club's quaint and intimate clubhouse offers several rooms that can be configured for a wide range of celebrations, from birthday parties and showers to weddings, rehearsal dinners, bar and bat mitzvahs, reunions, and retirement gatherings. A large tented patio expands capacity seasonally for larger groups. All event spaces overlook the Herbert Strong-designed 18-hole golf course, providing a classic country club backdrop through every season. The club's catering team works with each host through every step of the planning process, building custom menus to match the occasion. Corporate groups and golf outings round out the event calendar alongside private social celebrations.
