Country Club of North Carolina

The Country Club of North Carolina sits on 2,000 acres in the Sandhills of Pinehurst, long known as the "Home of American Golf." Founded in 1962 and opened the following year, the club was built around natural forest terrain and the 60-acre Watson Lake, and today spans 36 holes across courses including the Dogwood, Longleaf, and Cardinal. Beyond golf, the clubhouse anchors the club's social life. A 2020 renovation added several private dining rooms, expanded outdoor terrace seating, and a member lounge, complementing established venues such as the Watson Dining Room for fine dining and the Dogwood Bistro, Firepit Terrace, and Lounge for cocktails and casual fare. Across the year, the club hosts more than 30 social events, from holiday gatherings to dinners and parties. A recipient of the Distinguished Club designation, CCNC pairs its championship golf heritage with a full calendar of member celebrations.
