Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum

The Crested Butte Museum is a nonprofit cultural institution and event venue located at the corner of 4th and Elk Avenue in the heart of downtown Crested Butte, Colorado. Dedicated to preserving, sharing, and celebrating the history and traditions of Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley, the museum's historic building offers a distinctive setting that connects guests to the region's coal mining, railroad, snowsports, and mountain biking heritage through its permanent exhibits and immersive displays. The facility accommodates private events of up to 75 guests across its museum interior and an adjacent outdoor patio garden.
