The Cutler Plotkin Jewish Heritage Center occupies a historic 1922 building in downtown Phoenix, Arizona — originally constructed as Congregation Beth Israel, the first permanent synagogue in Phoenix, founded in 1920. After serving successive congregations over the decades, the Arizona Jewish Historical Society acquired the property in 2002 and transformed it into an active cultural and educational hub dedicated to preserving Arizona's Jewish heritage. Known as Venue 122, the center's event space welcomes a range of celebrations including weddings, b'nai mitzvahs, receptions, quinceaneras, and private parties. The venue's historic character — with its white stucco exterior, arched windows, and courtyard — provides a distinctive setting for events that carry meaningful significance.
