The Daly Mansion is a historic Georgian Revival estate set on 26.5 landscaped acres in Hamilton, Montana's Bitterroot Valley. Built as the summer retreat of copper king Marcus Daly, the 24,000-square-foot mansion is surrounded by 400 trees and offers sweeping views of the Bitterroot and Sapphire Mountains. Acquired by the State of Montana in 1986 and preserved by the nonprofit Daly Mansion Preservation Trust, the property reopened to the public in 1987 after more than 45 years of closure. It holds designation as a Distinctive Destination of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. For private events, the mansion offers a 40x100-foot tent with a permanent concrete floor, accommodating up to 250 guests for weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, and other celebrations during the outdoor season (mid-May through early October). Packages include 250 white folding chairs, twelve 60-inch round tables, twelve 8-foot buffet tables, eight chandeliers, electricity, public restrooms, parking, and staff setup and breakdown. Year-round indoor rental is available in the Trophy Room, and first-floor rooms can be reserved during the off-season months.
