Rich in beauty and history, Danada House in Wheaton, Illinois provides an ideal location for hosting your special event whether it be a wedding, banquet, meeting or party. Commodity trader Daniel F. Rice and his wife Ada built Danada House, a sprawling, white brick, 19-room country home in 1939. Originally, Danada House was the home farm of the 1965 Kentucky Derby winner Lucky Debonair, ridden by jockey Bill Shoemaker. The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County purchased the home and the 780 acres the home sits on, including out buildings and a 23-stall Kentucky style stable in 1980. Today, Danada House has become on the most sought-after wedding venues in Illinois. Danada House accommodates up to 250 guests in the Atrium or up to 90 guests in the main level of the House. So no matter what size private event you're planning, Danada House can accommodate your vision. The flexible floor plan makes Danada House a unique reception hall and meeting facility for your event. Plan your next engagement celebration, dinner party, wedding, corporate event, holiday party, and more at Danada House.
