Delaware Center for Horticulture

The Delaware Center for Horticulture (DCH) is a nonprofit event venue and public garden headquartered in Wilmington's Trolley Square neighborhood. Founded in 1977 as the Wilmington Garden Center, DCH moved to its current home at 1810 N. Dupont Street in 1992, where it has served as a community hub for horticultural education and urban greening ever since. The campus offers four distinct rental spaces suited to a range of private and professional gatherings. The Garden Pavilion provides a serene outdoor setting surrounded by native plantings, while the spacious Courtyard — available with tent coverage — offers flexible open-air hosting. Indoors, the Founders' Room features exposed beams, original hardwood floors, and oversized windows overlooking the back gardens. The Infinity Green Roof, adjacent to the Founders' Room, is an intimate outdoor rooftop space suited to private dinners, cocktail hours, or event breaks. Food service is provided through a select group of five approved catering partners.
