Demetria Estate

Demetria Estate is a biodynamic winery and private event estate perched high above the Santa Ynez Valley in Los Olivos, California. Founded in 2005 by John Zahoudanis — whose childhood near Mount Olympus, Greece was shaped by olive groves, citrus trees, and homemade wine — the estate draws on that European vineyard heritage and honors the goddess Demeter in both name and spirit. Set on rolling hills with sweeping views of Santa Barbara County, Demetria offers scenic outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate gatherings, birthday celebrations, bridal showers, and family reunions. Events are offered through several distinct packages, from a full private estate buyout granting unrestricted access to the entire property, to curated afternoon-to-evening formats and intimate micro celebrations at sunset. On-site partners include La Dolce Vita Catering, Till Death Do Us Party for cocktails and beverages, and Club Amore Weddings for planning and production. Transportation to the estate is required for all events, and estate wine service is available with guest-count-scaled minimums.
