Detroit Princess Riverboat

The Detroit Princess Riverboat is a five-deck event venue docked on the Detroit River at 1 Civic Center Drive in Detroit. Built in 1993 and arriving in Detroit in 2005, the vessel spans 222 feet in length with 30,000 square feet of dining and event space across four enclosed banquet room levels. It is the largest dinner riverboat in the Midwest and the second largest in the United States, accommodating up to 1,000 guests. The Detroit Princess hosts weddings, corporate functions, family reunions, birthday parties, proms, and specialty events. Private charters are available for groups of 50 to 500 guests, with the option to reserve individual decks or the entire vessel. Each deck features a stage for DJ or live band performances, and in-house event coordinators assist with customizable décor, catering, and entertainment packages. Outdoor ceremonies can be held on the 4th deck, while all banquet levels are fully enclosed and climate-controlled, with elevator access and handicap-accessible restrooms throughout.
