Dido's & The Yellowstone

River Rendezview, Dido's & the Yellowstone is a riverside destination on the San Bernard River in Brazoria, Texas, about 60 miles south of Houston. What began as a simple restaurant in the early 1980s has grown into a multi-part gathering place built around the water — Dido's Restaurant, the historic paddlewheel riverboat known as the Yellowstone, a party barn, the River Grace Chapel, a bed & breakfast, and a marina all share the same riverfront property. Dido's Restaurant, one of the oldest family-run restaurants in Brazoria County, serves classic American fare with a seafood focus — Gulf shrimp, hand-formed burgers, ribeye, chicken fried steak, and crispy catfish among them. The Yellowstone paddleboat adds a distinctive option for gatherings on the water, offering scenic cruises and private charters for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, showers, retirements, and other celebrations, with narration on the river and the boat's own history along the way. Between the restaurant, chapel, party barn, and paddleboat, the property offers several different settings under one roof of ownership, with catering and event planning handled on site.
