- Does the venue have any décor restrictions?
- Discovery Place does not allow the usage of flame candles on the premises. Balloons must be attached to a secure structure. Any unusual decorations or floral arrangements must be approved through the Events Department in advance of the event.
- What is the venue capacity?
- Discovery Place offers a range of different rooms and capacities. The Full Museum has a maximum capacity of 500 seated and 1800 standing.
- Is there a venue coordinator available to help with event logistics?
- All event rental include one Event Coordinator to assist with planning and executing a successful event.
- What is the venue refund or cancellation policy?
- A 50% deposit is due upon contract signing. The deposit is 100% refundable if the event is cancelled more than 90 days before the event date, 50% refundable if cancelled between 90-30 days before the event and is not refundable if cancelled less than 30 days before the event date.
- Does the venue have a curfew for events?
- All event rentals must conclude by 11:00pm.
