This indoor/outdoor space, which is located at the end of the 450-foot District Pier, provides guests with the ideal combination of excitement, accessibility, and exclusivity. There is 2,000 square feet of rentable space in the two-story glass building, which can accommodate 140 people standing and 100 people seated. With direct access to a waterfront overlook on the first floor, the Conference Room, and the Dockmaster Room, on the second floor, both feature a wrap-around balcony and canopy overhang in addition to floor-to-ceiling windows. Your rental of the Dockmaster Building comes with additional outdoor pier space - ideal for ceremonies and cocktail hours; and some of the best photo spots on the property. District Pier, which extends 450 feet into the Washington Channel, is one of The Wharf's most important outdoor gathering places, hosting a variety of exciting regional festivals, international celebrations, and whimsical holiday happenings throughout the year. It is possible to rent out the entire pier—8,000 square feet of rentable outdoor space with a standing capacity of 2,000 people—or just a portion of it for a variety of private events. The pier is tentable, and does cause capacity numbers to change when tented.
