Eberle Winery is a family-owned estate winery in Paso Robles, California, situated along Highway 46 East in the heart of the region's wine country. Founded in 1979 by Gary Eberle — a pioneer of the Paso Robles appellation who co-founded the designation in 1983 and was the first to feature it on a label — the winery has grown into one of the Central Coast's most recognized producers, earning accolades including the 2020 American Legend Wine Star Award from Wine Enthusiast. The property's most distinctive feature is its 16,800 square feet of underground wine caves, which extend approximately 30 feet below the winery and maintain a natural 60-degree temperature year-round. Within the caves, the candlelit Wild Boar Room serves as an elegant private event space equipped with a full-service kitchen, accommodating weddings, showers, and corporate gatherings. Above ground, the Vineyard Deck offers scenic views across the estate vineyard for seated tastings and smaller gatherings. Eberle Winery takes its name from the German word for "small boar," reflected in the winery's signature boar logo and the Wild Boar Room that anchors its private events program. The current winemaker is Chris Eberle, continuing the estate's focus on single-variety and designated-vineyard wines rooted in the Paso Robles terroir.
