Eisenhower Park Rose Garden

Eisenhower Park & Rose Garden is a historic outdoor venue in Abilene, Kansas, listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Abilene City Park Historic District. The grounds are home to more than 150 types of roses and over 500 varieties of flowers, with a classic gazebo and a spouting fountain providing natural focal points for ceremonies. The garden is available for weddings and special occasions on a first-come, first-serve basis through the City of Abilene Parks and Recreation office. With capacity for up to 250 guests and 12 hours of event time included in the rental, the Rose Garden offers a picturesque outdoor setting steeped in local history — the adjacent stadium is the site where General Dwight D. Eisenhower announced his 1952 presidential campaign.
