Erie Yacht Club

Founded in 1894 on Presque Isle Bay, Erie Yacht Club is one of the largest and oldest privately owned clubs on the Great Lakes, with a roster of more than 1,000 members. The clubhouse sits directly on the water in Kahkwa Park, giving every event space a view of the bay. Private banquets and meeting rooms are available for weddings, corporate gatherings, and special occasions, hosted for members, their sponsored guests, and yachtsmen with reciprocal privileges. The Ballroom can seat 180-200 guests and can also be partitioned into smaller private rooms, while the more intimate Bliss Room suits smaller celebrations of 40-50 guests just steps from the water. Outdoors, the Front Lawn and the Lighthouse patio offer waterfront ceremony and reception space with views across the bay, and the Club's catering team works with couples and hosts to build a complete menu, from coffee breaks and luncheons to buffet and plated dinners and all-inclusive wedding packages.
