Originally opened in 1921 as a community gathering spot serving Yosemite visitors, the property was acquired by its current owners in 2001 and thoughtfully transformed into a full-service destination resort — 88 standalone cabins, two houses, and 22 resort glamping sites nestled within the Stanislaus National Forest. Four distinct event spaces accommodate groups of 30 to 225 guests, from the rustic-elegant Tuolumne Hall with its vaulted ceilings and cathedral windows to the privately wooded Coyote Hill outdoor area, the intimate Cedar Room, and the open-air Main Plaza at the heart of the property. The lodge's in-house catering team — led by an Executive Chef — offers everything from simple buffets to full-service "mountain elegant" meals, paired with the historic 1920s Tavern for post-ceremony celebrations.
