Explora Science Center and Children's Museum in Albuquerque, New Mexico offers a distinctive event setting where interactive science, art, and discovery are woven into the backdrop. The nonprofit institution houses more than 250 hands-on exhibits spanning science, technology, engineering, art, and math — and opens its spaces to private events ranging from small meetings to full-facility gatherings of up to 2,400 guests. Two large event spaces anchor the private rental program. The outdoor Rotary Pavilion is set against views of the Sandia Mountains, suited for ceremonies and receptions. The West Deck offers an al fresco terrace beneath the building's glowing dome, well suited for dining and dancing. The Upper Gallery brings guests inside among Explora's interactive exhibits and is the venue's recommended space for weddings, accommodating both ceremony and reception with access to the bubble area and other exhibits. Smaller meeting rooms serve more intimate gatherings of 20 to 60 guests. Every rental includes tables, 150 cloth chairs, a 19-by-19-foot oak dance floor, and a portable PA system. Clients supply their own caterer, bartender, and vendors, with flexibility to personalize decor and scheduling within the available hours.
