Fat's Catering Sacramento

Fat's Catering is the event and banquet arm of the Fat Family Restaurant Group, a Sacramento institution that has been family-owned since Frank Fat opened his namesake restaurant in 1939. The catering division was added to the family's portfolio in 1980, extending the group's culinary legacy into private events and celebrations. The facility offers a full-service catering program alongside banquet rooms available for individual rental or full-facility buyout, welcoming events such as engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, and corporate gatherings. As a full-service caterer, the team customizes menus to suit each event, drawing on expertise across Chinese, American, Italian, and French cuisines. Frank Fat's restaurant earned the James Beard Foundation's America's Classics Award in 2013, a recognition given to locally owned establishments that reflect the character of their communities. Fat's Catering carries that same family tradition forward under Executive Chef Lina Fat, continuing to offer the Fat family's signature approach to hospitality and cuisine.
