The Fiesta Gardens Building and Patio sits on the north shore of Lady Bird Lake at Edward Rendon Sr. Metro Park at Festival Beach, just east of I-35 in East Austin. Opened in 1966 as part of an early public-private waterfront entertainment complex, the property showcases a mid-century modernist take on Spanish Colonial-Pueblo Revival architecture and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The venue's open-plan dining hall spans approximately 4,000 square feet, with a generous 9,500-square-foot outdoor patio that overlooks the lagoon on Lady Bird Lake and includes a lighted, 20-by-30-foot bandstand. Together the building and patio accommodate up to 200 guests, making the space suited to weddings, quinceaneras, reunions, and other family celebrations. Inside, the dining hall includes a kitchen area with an upright refrigerator, a dual-basin stainless steel sink, and a bar area, along with tables, folding chairs, and 110V outlets spaced throughout for event equipment. The property offers two free parking lots and ADA-accessible parking, restrooms, and building entry.
