Flagstaff House Restaurant sits at 6,000 feet on Flagstaff Mountain, five minutes from Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado. Originally a 1929 summer cabin, the property was transformed into a year-round fine-dining destination by the Monette family beginning in 1971. Today the restaurant holds 42 Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star ratings, 33 consecutive AAA Four Diamond ratings, and a Wine Spectator Grand Award every year since 1983 — recognition earned by a wine program of more than 16,000 bottles. Four private event spaces — The Flagstaff Room, The Glass Atrium, The Covered Terrace, and The Vintner's Room — accommodate gatherings from 10 to 150 guests. The venue hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversary celebrations, corporate dinners, and daytime meetings, with more than 200 private events each year. Large picture windows and outdoor terraces frame panoramic views of downtown Boulder and the surrounding Rocky Mountains. Guests at private events have access to the same hyper-seasonal, locally inspired tasting menu served during regular dinner service, overseen by Executive Chef and Co-Owner Chris Royster.
