For Friends Inn

Polo House Hotel & Bungalows is a 14-key boutique hotel situated in the heart of downtown Santa Ynez, California, at the center of Santa Barbara County wine country. The property draws on the heritage of California's polo culture, blending refined design with relaxed luxury across its main inn and a collection of bungalows on Sagunto Street. Modern architecture with equestrian influences — clean lines softened by natural textures — runs throughout both locations. The hotel's setting places guests within easy reach of local wineries, artisan shops, and farm-to-table restaurants. An on-site dining program led by Chef Jessica Ramirez includes a Chef's Table experience, where guests observe the kitchen at work in an intimate setting. The property's wrap-around front porch and carefully designed common areas provide gathering space for those seeking a private California wine country retreat.
