Fountain Square

Fountain Square has anchored Cincinnati's civic and social life for more than 150 years. Situated at 520 Vine Street in the heart of downtown, the square underwent a $48.9 million renovation completed in 2006, establishing it as a central gathering place that now draws over 5 million visitors annually and hosts hundreds of events each year. The square's centerpiece is the Tyler Davidson Fountain -- a European-inspired bronze and granite monument dedicated in 1871 -- surrounded by a broad plaza designed for events of all scales. The venue accommodates private parties, corporate functions, community celebrations, and large public gatherings. Performance infrastructure includes the Fifth Third Center Stage, featuring a $2 million investment in professional audio, lighting, and technology. Complimentary altafiber WiFi, a full-service Fountain Bar, and dedicated on-site parking round out the amenities. Fountain Square is managed by the Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC), a non-profit organization that oversees programming, operations, and event permitting for the space.
