Housed in the historic Commercial Exchange building in Downtown Los Angeles, once home to the publishing offices of Tarzan author, Edgar Rice Burroughs. Inside, a jungle-like lobby is peppered with potted cacti and a menagerie of ornamental wooden creatures alongside an Aztec-style bar. Freehand Los Angeles offers a variety of unique spaces that you won’t find anywhere else in the city. The Exchange restaurant's eclectic menus reflect the flavors of multicultural California cuisine through an Israeli lens, Rudolph's Bar & Tea offers unique tea infused cocktails, and our rooftop pool deck with city views is home to our favorite bar, Broken Shaker. Ongoing collaborations with local artists and musicians create engaging events and activities for hotel guests and locals.
