Gateway Center

Gateway Convention Center is a multi-purpose event facility in Collinsville, Illinois, offering approximately 50,000 square feet of flexible space suited for gatherings of 20 to 3,200 guests. Anchoring the Eastport Plaza hospitality district and accessible from five interstates, the center sits about 10 minutes from downtown St. Louis — making it a practical choice for regional events drawing attendees from across the metro area. Originally built in the mid-1980s as part of an Illinois state initiative and expanded three times since — most recently in 2006 — the facility is now operated by the City of Collinsville. It hosts more than 300 events annually, spanning consumer expos, trade shows, corporate meetings, weddings, galas, and black-tie affairs. The center's column-free Main Exhibit Hall provides wide-open space for large-scale productions, while a ballroom and conference wing accommodate banquets, receptions, and breakout sessions. In-house services include catering, audio-visual production, décor, and technology support, with complimentary parking for all guests.
