Gateways Inn occupies a Gilded Age mansion in downtown Lenox, Massachusetts, built in 1912 for Harley Procter of Procter & Gamble and designed by the acclaimed New York architectural firm McKim, Mead and White. The Post-Victorian neoclassical structure features a white clapboard exterior, rooftop balustrade, corner pilasters, and Tiffany-style windows opening to an elegant entry hall with a freestanding staircase. Among its historic guests were Boston Pops conductor Arthur Fiedler and illustrator Norman Rockwell. Acquired and carefully restored by Mill Town Capital in 2020, the property blends its landmark character with contemporary amenities across twelve individually appointed guest rooms. The inn hosts private events of all kinds — wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, micro-weddings, company retreats, and seasonal celebrations — across elegant indoor spaces and a charming outdoor patio. The on-site restaurant, Dine & Drink, offers a seasonally inspired menu rooted in Berkshires ingredients, with live jazz featured on weekend evenings.
