Germaine's Luau

Germaine's Luau has been hosting O'ahu's original backyard-style family luau since 1976, making it one of Hawaii's longest-running beachfront luau experiences. Set on the shores of Kapolei — roughly 27 miles west of Waikiki — the venue offers unobstructed ocean views, a soft-sand beach setting, and a backdrop that drew Disney's production team to film the live-action *Lilo & Stitch* on location here. The venue hosts events on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, with check-in beginning at 5:30 PM. Every event includes a multi-island Polynesian show featuring traditional dances from Samoa, Tahiti, New Zealand, and Hawaii, alongside an all-you-can-eat Hawaiian-American buffet dinner. Pre-show activities — fresh floral hairpiece making, traditional Polynesian tattooing art, and an imu pit ceremony — give guests a hands-on introduction to Hawaiian culture before the performance begins. Germaine's also accommodates private occasions including weddings, corporate parties, project graduations, fundraisers, and concerts.
