Gilbert Cellars Winery

Gilbert Cellars Winery is a fifth-generation family winery in the Yakima Valley, set on a working vineyard with views of the Ahtanum Ridge, the Sunrise Vineyard, apple orchards, cattail-lined ponds, and rows of French lavender. The property sits about 20 minutes west of downtown Yakima and roughly two hours southeast of Seattle. The winery farms organically where microclimates allow and follows Washington State's Sustainable WA certification, taking a low-intervention approach to both the vineyard and the winemaking. Its tasting room welcomes daily visitors, while private event rentals draw on the same rural scenery for weddings and celebrations, and its Music in the Vines series brings live bands to the property throughout the summer alongside rotating food vendors.
