Gilsland Farm Audubon Center

Gilsland Farm Audubon Center is a 65-acre wildlife sanctuary and the headquarters of Maine Audubon, set along the Presumpscot River estuary in Falmouth, Maine — about five minutes from downtown Portland. The property encompasses meadows, mature forest, and more than two miles of trails, offering a naturally quiet backdrop for weddings, corporate meetings, and private gatherings. The venue's most popular event space is its apple orchard and open field behind the Visitor Center, which accommodates up to 150 guests under a 40-by-80-foot tent and includes access to handicap-accessible restrooms. Indoors, the L.L. Bean Great Room is a 30-by-50-foot space seating up to 75 guests, equipped with tables, chairs, and a small kitchen. Revenue from all rentals supports Maine Audubon's wildlife conservation and education mission.
