Granby Theater

The Granby Theater is a historic venue in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, originally opened in 1915 and renovated for private events, live music, trade shows, and movie screenings. The building retains its early-20th-century character, with crystal chandeliers, tall ceilings, 24k gold leaf-trimmed walls, and a velvet-curtained stage, paired with a modern sound and lighting system for events. The theater hosts weddings, military command parties, corporate events, birthdays, and bar and bat mitzvahs, and its stage and historic interior also make it a setting for public programming such as live music, immersive movie experiences, murder mystery dinners, and comedy shows.
