Great Marsh Estate's Manor House was built in the 1980s as a historical re-creation of a conventional Georgian manor house. After years of serving as a private property, the transfer to a wedding venue in 2018 seemed logical. While your guests chat on the first floor and the gentlemen play pool in our basement groom's suite, the Manor House 2nd floor rooms provide a wide and lovely backdrop for your morning hair and makeup as a bridal suite. Our famed Georgian Mansion is nestled in over 121 acres of lawn and forest, close to Warrenton and only an hour drive from Washington, DC, with restored period features and illustrious past and charm. Great Marsh Estate's Manor House is your very own unique country house for the day, with a luxurious bridal suite and a peaceful groom's lounge. The spiraling staircase, twelve-foot ceilings, stunning mirrors and lighting, and panoramic views of the courtyard Ceremony Site in the Bridal Suite were all designed with you and your guests in mind. The Reception Hall The joyous backdrop to your celebration is our Stables reception space, where your guests will enjoy dinner and reception. Heat/AC, onsite toilets, exquisite bistro lighting, and a delightful campfire area outside the covered patio have all been added to our Stables. The ideal venue for family and friends to celebrate your love! The Stables reception hall, which was erected in the 1800s, has a longer history. Its rustic architecture and wooden beams were kept during renovations in 2017, which included all of the modern comforts such as air conditioning/heating, restrooms, and a catering kitchen, as well as bistro lighting and a patio lounge space. The contrast between the magnificent Manor House and the more rustic Stables creates a unique and varied venue experience that your guests will enjoy! All of this, however, pales in comparison to the venue's natural beauty. It's a photographer's dream location, with its tranquil rolling hills, large green trees, tree-lined driveway, and onsite pond and bridge. We're excited to show you around!
