Greate Bay

Greate Bay Country Club is a private championship golf club and event venue in Somers Point, New Jersey, situated at the Jersey Shore just minutes from Ocean City. Founded in 1923, the club's course was originally designed by British Open winner Willie Park Jr. and reconfigured in 1972 by course architect Tom Fazio. The club hosts weddings, receptions, and private celebrations across several distinct spaces. The Greate Room is a ballroom-style reception hall seating up to 300 guests, with a customizable dance floor and sweeping views of the golf course, a wedding garden with pond and fountain, and the bay. An outdoor tented space accommodates up to 250 guests with the same panoramic course and bay outlook. For cocktail hours or smaller gatherings, the Bay Room provides a bright, windowed setting with an outdoor deck, and the adjacent Lounge features a full circular bar and panoramic window-wall views. The venue's in-house catering and event planning teams are available for all events.
